Al-Nusra Front Thanks Terrorist Groups Refused to Join Truce with Syrian Gov’t

The Fatah al-Sham (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) terrorist group has thanked leaders and members of 22 terrorist groups that rejected the ceasefire with the Syrian government brokered by Russia and the US.

On Tuesday, terrorist groups, rejected the ceasefire with the Syrian government brokered by Russia and the US that went into effect on Monday night, were thanked by the Fatah al-Sham (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) terrorist group.

According to a statement, released by the group, the truce agreement is a new plot, and the Fatah al-Sham appreciated the fact that leaders and members of 22 terrorist groups did not accept the US-Russia negotiated ceasefire with the Syrian government.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 22 terrorist groups, most of which are members of the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA), announced that they would not observe the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on Monday night.

A list of terrorist groups that signed a statement to reject the truce agreement includes the Faylaq al-Sham, the Liwa al-Horiyeh al-Islami, the al-Faoj al-Awal, the Fastwom Kama Amrat, the Nouralddeen al-Zinki movement, the Liwa al-Fatah, the al-Isaleh Front, the al-Ferqa 101, the al-Ferqa al-Wosta, the Etihad al-Islami al-Ajnad al-Sham, the al-Ferqa 13, the al-Tamiyeh, the Jeish al-Islam, the Kataeb al-Safwa al-Islamiyeh, the al-Ferqa Shomaliyeh, the Liwa al-Soqouu Jabal al-Zawiyeh, the Ansar al-Islam Front, the Jeish al-Nasr, the Faylaq al-Homs, the Jeish al-Tahrir, the Jund al-Badr 313 and the al-Shamiyeh Front.
