Egypt’s President Al-Sisi
Preliminary results of the Egyptian presidential election show that Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has secured more than 90% of the votes winning a second four-year term. Egyptian sources reported on March 30 that more than 41% of the 60 million eligible voters in Egypt had participated in the election.
The official result of the Egyptian presidential election will be announced on April 2. However, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin already congratulated the Egyptian president for his landslide victory, according to the Russian RT TV.
Al-Sisi led the 2013 Egyptian coup d’état [then he was the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces], expelled the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Party from the Egyptian government and banned it.
Later, al-Sisi announced that he would run as a candidate in the 2014 Egyptian presidential election. On June 8, 2014 al-Sisi etered the Egyptian presidential office securing more than 97% of the votes in the election.
The terrorism, the struggling Egyptian economy and the instability in the Middle East will be the main challenges that al-Sisi will face in his second presidential term. Many Egyptian observers argue that al-Sisi handled all of these challenges very well during his first term, while Egypt had been struggling on all levels during the Muslim Brotherhood ear.
So how many people and who was running against him? Would be great to know this information too.

Actually it is Mohamed Morsi who democratically won the Egyptian peoples vote for president.
