A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- The US-led coalition is building a large base with an airstrip near al-Darbasiyah;
- Six Turkish-backed militants, including a commander, were killed and three others were injured in Kurdish rebels’ attack in Fafirtin;
- Syrian and Russian airstrikes targeted militants’ positions near al-Bawabiya, al-Atarib, Qammari, al-Barqoum, Urem al-Kubra, Kafr Halab;
- Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) units clashes with supposed ISIS members near the al-Omar oil fields. Casualties were reported;
- Militants claim Syrian strikes on Latamna and Kafrzita caused civilian casualties.
