On June 6, the Abkhazian Network News Agency (ANNA) released a video of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) operations in northwestern Hama, which led to the capture of the towns of Qasabiyah, Humayrat, Hardanah and Qirutiyah.
The 10-minute videos shows several destroyed vehicles of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies, including at least two Panthera F9 armored personnel carriers (APCs). This type of vehicles was reportedly supplied by Turkey.
12 airstrikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) on militants’ positions, vehicles and gatherings can be also seen in the second half of the video.
The SAA halted its advance in northwestern Hama on May 5. However, Russia and Syrian warplanes are still carrying out airstrikes on greater Idlib.
The military operation in the northwestern Hama countryside will likely be resumed after Eid al-Fitr, which is set to end on June 7.
