- At least 6 people, including 2 civilians, were killed in an operation by Afghan security forces in the outskirts of Charikar city, the center of Parwan province;
- Clashes between the Taliban and government forces are ongoing in the Qarghayi district, Laghman province. According to pro-Taliban sources, 5 soldiers were injured;
- The Taliban captured a government fighter and injured two others in an attack on a checkpoint in the provincial capital of Wardak province;
- Clashes between the Taliban and government forces were reported in the Deh Dadi district, Balkh province. The Taliban claimed that 4 policemen were killed and 3 others were wounded. e) The Taliban attacked government positions in the Want Waygal district.
