A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- A fourth Su-25 newly deployed attack aircraft was spotted on satellite images;
- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) shot down an armed UAV belonging to militants over Na’awr Jurin in northern Lattakia;
- Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is carrying out an operation against ISIS cells in Sarmin and Mseibin in southeastern Idlib;
- Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri visited Damacsus to participate in a meeting with his Syrian and Iraqi counterparts;
- The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been still dealying with the ISIS-held pocket near Baghuz;
- ISIS cells attacked an SDF convoy in al-Tayyana in southeastern Deir Ezzor. According to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq, at least 5 SDF members were killed.
