Since the refugee crisis started this year, Hungarian official response to it has been highly criticized for their decision of closing their border with Serbia first and now with Croatia in a unilateral effort to “effectively control” the entrance of refugees, mainly Syrians fleeing from conflicts and harsh situation in their homeland. Besides closing its borders, Hungary has also been questioned because of its irrational denial of asylum requests of thousands of refugees.

As the refugee crisis continues, it was reported that on Thursday night an afghan man was killed by Bulgarian police when a riot started between refugees and the officials. As it was claimed, the man was killed by a bullet impact. This is the first case of this kind since the biggest refugee crisis since World War II started, according to HCUNR.
