On October 24, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Saudi Arabia would not have murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi without US protection, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

“No one would imagine that in today’s world and a new century that we would witness such an organised murder and a system would plan out such a heinous murder,” Rouhani said, according to IRNA. “I don’t think that a country would dare commit such a crime without the protection of America.”

The President also stated that the US protection allows Saudi Arabia to continue its bloody bombing campaign in Yemen.

“If there was no American protection, would the people of Yemen still have faced the same brutal bombing?” Rouhani said.

Additionally, Rouhani stated that his country will defeat US sanctions on its oil exprot, which are set to be imposed soon.

Washington also pre-approved Saddam´s attack on Kuwait. Washington pre-approve all Israel´s actions.
Washington claim EU can do what they want, as long as they follow Washington´s line and orders.

But when a scapegoat is needed a country suddenly act independently on their own. I would guess like Rouhani, that Khashoggi´s death also was ordered by Washington.
