Syrian Army Liberates Ardh Amirah And Rujm Mughrabah Areas In Rif Damashq Desert

On Agust 14, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) liberated the areas of Arh Amirah and Rujm Mughrabah in the Rif Damashq desert from ISIS cells, according to pro-government sources.

Earlier, the SAA retook control of the Markadah area killing at least 5 ISIS members and destroying two vehicles.

These advances allowed government troops to develop their advance in the area engaging ISIS militants in the northwestern and eastern parts of the Safa volcanic plateau.
