The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have liberated the Manbij farms area from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in the Beijt Jinn pocket in southern Syria.
With the recent advances by the SAA and the NDF in Hankarat and the Manbij farms, government troops established control over the only road linking Beit Jinn and Maghar al-Mir.
Clashes also continued in the town of Maghar al-Mir. According to pro-government sources, the SAA had captured a notable part of it.

so if the reality is that the United States have instituted 25th December as Christmas holiday you should not have any difficulty in providing proof.

Well done SAA. The Syrian side is restricted here by the proximity to The Occupied Territories of Golan. The Israeli forces of occupation will use any excuse to bombard Syria and assist their proxies. A conventional Iskander would clear Beit Jinn but the Israelis would have a fit. Slow and steady, battlecraft is winning.
The UN security zone separating syria from israel occupied Golan heights was evacuated several years ago after isis attacked un peacekeepers from the Isreali side. The decision to evacuate was taken to protect the un peacekeeping force. Realy, though, the security council pushed this to allow isis to invade syria from israel, and to reopen the path for israel to invade syria.
