On December 2, ISIS fighters captured positions of the SAA west of the village of Dawer in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq. ISIS fighters reportedly killed several SAA soldiers during their attack.
Amaq also reported that ISIS fighters destroyed a 23mm gun, and damaged a battle tank of the SAA around the al-Ward oil field located between the cities of al-Bukamal and Mayadin.
ISIS shelled the positions of the SAA in the village of Hamadan west of al-Bukamal with mortars. Amaq also released photos of ISIS fighters shelling a Russian Su-25 warplane over the village of al-Ashayir north of al-Bukamal.
Syrian-pro government sources released a video showing operations of the SAA and the Tiger Forces south of Mayadin in the last few days.
The SAA and its allies are supposed to launch the final phase of their advance to secure the enntire western bank of the Euphrates river in the upcoming day, according to pro-government sources. However, due to the strong resistance of ISIS, the final phase might be delayed in order to contain ISIS attacks.
those rats are very loyal to their masters….cant realise that its a lost cause…..
weak saa
and the stupid claim isis has finished
with crumbling isis cities no supply… saa should already paint red all of western euphrates
but they not.
SAA is not weak problem is they want to fight 4 wars at one time like Hama , Dierzor . quentra and Damascus SAA is dividing power which is not helpful for now . .they should have waitited for Hama . SAA should have finised first dier zor then they should sifted tiger force to Hama.
They can’t do that because the invading foreign US/Zionist/Saudi mercenaries are constantly being supplied with weapons and fresh mercenary man power from Turkey, Jordan, Israel and Iraq and the US invad and occupied areas on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river. They need to cope with all fronts at once to keep the pressure on the terrorists. They can do that because they have total air supremacy thanks to the Russian air force and ground supremacy thanks to the formidable Hezbollah, the Iranian Republican Gurad and the Palestinian Liberation Army. The weak link here is Russia which is very selective in its targetting, refusing to conduct air strikes on ISIS on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river from where ISIS/SDF receive reinforcements to attack the Syrian government forces.
“The weak link here is Russia”(c) … Deo, let us know your thoughts regarding what would have happened to Syria if this “weak link” wasn’t involved?
The weak link is SAA itself.
>>SAA is not weak problem is they NEED to fight 4 wars at one time<<
Fixed it for you.
The SAA doesn't have the option to finish off one fight at a time, because its enemies know that if they let the SAA do that they will be picked off one at a time. And that is not exactly in their best interest. So they have to, and are, attacking the SAA while it is busy elsewhere.
It amases me how people react to such “news” and “reports” coming from amaq. I’m not talking about “saa is weak!” gang – those armchair generals are known entity. But many sane people really taking this reports seriously. Yes, those rats are not gone completely – they will keep some sort of querillia war for some time (with help of SDF under Israel/UK/US orders). But brown part of the map keeps shrinking day by day. Minor setback here and there is to be expected. Those who orchestrated this war are not ready to give up but even they understand that they lost this one.
cannot let this keep happening SAA!!! NO MORE LOSING!!!
