Syrian Army Repels Large Attack Of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham In Western Ghouta, Pounds Militants With Heavy Rockets (Videos)

On December 2, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the local National Defense Forces (NDF) repelled an attack of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) on its new positions in the strategic Bardae Hill in Western Ghouta, according to pro-government sources.

The sources said that the HTS commander in Western Ghouta, Iyad Kamal “Moro”, was injured and dozens of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) fighters were injured in the clashes. The SAA also shelled the HTS positions around the Bardae Hill and in the town of Beit Jinn south of it with the Syrian-made Golan-300 Multiple Heavy Rocket Launcher (MHRL).

Earlier, Syrian opposition sources claimed that HTS fighters captured three positions in Bardae Hill. However, these claims were proven to be false.

Local sources said that HTS fighters are smuggling their families through the Syrian-Lebanese border into the Lebanese Chebaa region. They fear that the SAA will advance and captured the village of Mughr al-Mir east of Beit Jinn in the upcoming days.

they are surrounded, but still they smuggle their families? That means they break the blockade of the stock market. That is why they always have weapons, ammunition and food to resist the siege. Is something failing?
