On November 25, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Deface Forces (NDF) repelled a new attack of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS; formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) on the Druze town of Hadar located north of the Golan Heights in southern Syria, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The SANA said that HTS launched its attack on Hadar from the town of Jubata al-Khashab on the Separation of Forces Line between Syrian and Israeli positions. HTS fighters attacked the SAA positions in al-Dalafa and Qurs al-Nafel southwest of Hadar, according to the report.
The SANA said that the SAA and the local NDF units killed and injured several fighters of HTS while they were repelling the attack.
Meanwhile, the HTS-linked news agency Iba’a said that Syrian attack helicopters bombed the HTS-held town of Beit Jinn north of Hadar. 8 strikes were reported. The SAA artillery also shelled HTS positions in the village of Hamriyah south of Hadar, according to pro-government sources.

The SAA repelled a wide-scale attack of HTS on Hadar town on November 3. Back then, local sources accused Israel of supporting the HTS attack on Hadar and even released photos of HTS fighters hiding near the Israeli Army fornications on the Separation of Forces Line.
