The Russian Aerospace Forces have significantly increased airstrikes on ISIS targets in the Homs province in central Syria, according to pro-government sources.
Russian attack helicopters and warplanes are actively supporting the ongoing Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advance in the direction of Sukhna from the province of Homs. Attack helicopters provide a close air support while warplanes destroy ISIS fortifications and military columns moving in the area.
The SAA is now clashing with ISIS terrorists north of the ISIS-held village of Taybah that is likely a current goal of the advance. Taybah may be turned into a government strongpoint at the Sukhna-Resafa road that would allow the SAA to control the nearby area.
