35 ISIS members have been killed in clashes with the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Raqqah, according to a pro-Kudish radio station ARTA FM.
On Tuesday, ISIS terrorists launched a large counter-attack against the SDF in Hisham Ibn Abdulmalik and Al-Rawda districts but they were not able to overrun the SDF defense in these areas, ARTA FM reported citing a spokesperson for the US-backed operation Wrath of the Euphrates, Jehan Sheikh Ahmed.
According to the report, the almost whole Hisham Ibn Abdulmalik distrcit is now under the control of the SDF. Howeever, no photos or videos confirming the ISIS casualties and the recent gains have been provided so far.
