Syrian Army Regains Four More Villages From ISIS In Eastern Aleppo

FILE IMAGE

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Forces have liberated four more villages from ISIS terrorists in the eastern part of the province of Aleppo.

The SAA, backed up by the Russian Aerospace Forces, has got full control over al-Jamiliyah, Rasm al-Hammam, al-Mahsanah and Qanawi northwest of the ISIS-stronghold of Maskanah.

Government troops are now clearing the Maskanah countryside from ISIS units with an aim to isolate this ISIS-held town and to regain it.

Maskanah is the last major ISIS stronghold in the province of Aleppo. If it’s liberated, the SAA and its allies will get an access to the province of Raqqah from this area.

Let’s hope ISIS evacuate the city. I mean, what is the point of resisting in these areas? It’s not like they are delaying the advance on Raqqa…
