The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have liberated the town of Tabqah, the Tabqah dam and the villages of al-Jalai and Mayselum.
With these advances and the recent announcement that the US is set to provide arms and weapons to Kurdish factions within the SDF, the US-backed force will have enough capabilities to continue its advance in the countryside of Raqqah and to further isolate the ISIS self-proclaimed capital.
Then, the SDF will start preparations for a direct storm of the city.
