Russian Military Servicemen Visited Rubar Refugee Camp Recently Shelled By Turkey (Photos)

Russian military servicemen acompanied with members of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) has visited the Runbar refugee camp in the Afrin Canton, a YPG-held area in northwestern Syria.

Earlier this wee, the Runbar refugee camp was shelled by Turkish military forces. Other targets across Afrin also came under a Turkish artillery fire this week.

The visit of the Russian military delegation to the area followed reports that Russia was setting up observation posts in order to monitor Turkish actions against the YPG and population in the YPG held area in Afrin near the Turkish-Syrian border.

Moscow and Damascus are strengthening their ties with the YPG in Afrin while the United States are expanding its military activity in Kobani Canton and Jazira Canton in northeastern Syria.

Several reports that I have read have given me the impression that the Turks
are slowly being isolated and frozen out. Am I correct?

cortisol

Perhaps. Russian actions make sense so, that US actions of deploying troops across the whole border are seen as more aggressive by Turkey than the Russian action of deploying a few monitoring posts. So Turkey might, all other things being equal, have worse relations with US than Russia in aftermath. Russia needs to keep either option available. US is trying to play both sides by separating the two.

Ultimately I think CIA/Mossad will try to assassinate or depose of Erdogan again, not least because the new Rojava vassal being part of larger US geostrategy, won’t fit with his policies. There are many other reasons as well, as him being too radical to be able to be absorbed in the EU. US needs a more reliable pro-globalist puppet. The big question is whether Erdogan has enough self preservation to understand this and act accordingly in terms of foreign positioning. Ultimately I suspect he will, and that means leaving Nato and US sphere in the end. CIA through gulenists will try to prevent this again once they have infiltrated enough to rebuild their influence in Turkish system.

Another Coup is really doubtful given how extensive Erdogan’s purge has been. I am still not convinced that the coup was not staged by Erdogan himself. In any event, assassination seems the only option at this point. Erdogan will either have accept the reality of Kurdish state on Turkey’s borders or risk a military confrontation with the US.

Jonathan Cohen

Yes, HOWEVER, US border patrols can prevent PKK infiltration to Turkey almost as completely as they prevent Turkish invasion of Rojava. So with any luck both sides will be happy unless Erdogan rescinds abortion rights.
We don’t want US ammo meant for Raqqa to end up with PKK in Turkey, at least not as long as Turkey has abortion rights.

Thegr8rambino

Yes I also am not convinced he didnt stage the coup himself either

Thegr8rambino

Very interesting and accurate analysis

NeoLeo

Unfortunately no, Erdogan is going to Sochi today to meet with Putin, then he’ll meet with Trump. Turkey is too important and Erdog is playing both (all) sides.

Thegr8rambino

What do u think is his ultimate goal by doing that?

NeoLeo

To gain as much as possible, he is insanely ambitious, he is even meddling in Pakistani-Indian relations now. He cannot be trusted, i’m sure both Russians and Americans know that. But they need him. ‘Keep your enemies close’ that’s why Putin is trying to maintain these fake ‘friendly’ relationship, better than openly hostile.

Thegr8rambino

Why they need him?

So, no help from Iraq, no PMUs. No Deir ez Zor.

Assad takes Qabun, the enemy takes all South and East Syria :(

Bye bye Assad the Doctor, bye bye Putin, the Taitor!

Doom Sternz

Democracy, decency and international law be damned right? The Ides of May.

Solomon Krupacek

this is abour war and not rights.

this universe is very, very unfair.

Doom Sternz

Syrian forces are advancing on all fronts. In time they will evict all the US proxies, terrorists and rebuild. Syria will forever be an enemy of the US as a number of other nations are. In time these nations will coalesce into a formidable force.

Solomon Krupacek

no. they made no step for 2 months in aleppo, nothind in deir ez zor, hama stopped, daraa lose.

little (4 km2) gains in qabun.

inetween, the enemy ceised several 1000 km2.

PZIVJ

FSA taking open and vacated desert area means nothing.
They will run away from a real battle when the shit hits the fan.

Solomon Krupacek

they took strategically very important teritory. and will not run, because behind them are really american and british soldiers.

you are totally blind. you are not eble to see the reality.

PZIVJ

Then let them move against the new ISUS HQ at Mayadan.
I have no problem with this.
FSA is worthless trash without US and British support.

Solomon Krupacek

“I have no problem with this.”

i know. u r jihadist-friendly. you welcomed several types the vicotry of moderate jihadists.

PZIVJ

Say wha…..t ?
I look forward to the FSA and ISUS Jihadist going for an all out battle for Mayadan on the Ephrates. The Iraqi PMU can move in later for clean up ops.

Solomon Krupacek

on disqus:
Democracy, decency and international law be damned right? The Ides of
May (you see yourself as Brutus, go for it, give it your best shot).
Compare this map to the position before Russia got involved it is very
much improved and Syria as a nation is becoming stronger every day.
Will Trump sell out the US proxy terrorists in Syria to stop Russia taking a port and control of Yemen, watch this space.
The infestation of terrorists who like you wish to see the government
removed are becoming weaker and weaker. You are on the wrong side of
history.

So, Brutus is your cock. I write my opinion, you little dictator!!!

I compare the territories of jihadists. more tehn 100% rised. I cokmpare the terriotry of kurds. more then 100% rised.

syria as nation is weakor and weaker. i was on side of assad, but this war shwed, he is weak, the generals do what thyey want, the sytem is corrupted, is good only for smugglers. the syrians do not want fight. (instead of 1 million soldiers have 80 000).

unfortunately, the istory AND the present are on my side

Nobody trust american army now. The Empire is over. CIA, Pentagon, white house: differents ways but only one direction ==> chaos ! Only Russia is able in Middle East to keep real foreingers relationships based on all kind of exchanges: from man to man, from people to people. We all R humans but NWO doesn’t needs humans as citizens… I have faith, I believe in God, but I don’t trust Vatican. Our next president in France will “normally be e.macron and it’s a fucking shame and a bad news us, real french citizens. It’s a sunny day here, life is going on, I don’t surrender ! Come on YPG, SAA, Hezbollah and bigs allies.

paolo duchateau

I particulary will said worry about the english bastards. Always these english bastards ! MI 6/white helmets/satanic queen and the propaganda all day long on western medias.

Tillerson is now saying that Sanctions are needed to keep North Korea in step, last week it was assassination time for their leaders and the Very Powerful Submarines and Flat Tops are going to blitz them like never before, Trump is singing the praises of Abass, Jerusalem in not the capital of the jew murderers any more, and Erdogan is coming back into the Russian Camp, but Trump will not say that he made a mistake he’ll pin the reversal of the reversal on the failure of God to proscribe following his prescriptions, he’s obviously barck the front again, and that proves it.
