On Saturday, intense clashes continued between the Syrian Army and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in the provincial capital of Dara’a without any changes at the frontline.
Loyalist sources announced that the Syrian Army killed 8 jihadists and destroyed 4 technical vehicles and over 5 HTS checkpoints in the districts of Tariq al-Sad and the Refugee Camp (Mukhayyam al-Naziheen) with artillery and tank shelling.
Opposition sources reported the death of 76 fighters mostly from HTS during the battles in the province in March. 19 of those were aliens. 11 were military commanders. IEDs were the main reason of the high deathtoll among militants.
Ahrar al-Sham commander Muneef Aqdah survived an IED attack on Saturday in the city of Al-Harak. A photo of his car after the attack:

According to pro-government sources, Hezbollah reinforcements are pouring into the city of Dara’a in preparation for a large offensive set to take place later this year. The goal of the operation is to expel jihadist forces from the provincial capital.
