On Tuesday, the Syrian army’s Tiger Forces liberated Jannat al-Salamah, Jafar Mansour and Kharayih Diham from the ISIS terrorist group in the province of Aleppo.
Jannat al-Salamah, Jafar Mansour and Kharayih Diham are located southeast of the ISIS-held city of Deir Hafer which is the mid-term target of the government advance in the province.
Now, government are advancing in order to cut off the road between Deir Hafer and the Jarah Airbase and to encircle the ISIS stronghold.
COOL!
Now that’s what I call flanking a city.
Leave a narrow road corridor open for Daesh to die in.
Maybe get blown up by an ATGM or a surprise IED.
If SAA keeps going futher along road to east they can also encircle Jihar airbase
For the second time. Wrong to call it an airbase. None is left beside some basements, where You later on can store cheese.
SAA cuts off Deir Haffer Raqqa road
It seems SAA is making better progress moving through the Flank. They should continue that way and cut off roads at intervals and then link up.
