I hope the SAA advances on highway 45, and crushes the ISIS area in east Hama/west Homs.

Thegr8rambino

me too broseph

Xanatos

The 45 highway puts pressure on Tiyas airbase and helps supply the rebel pocket north of homs right thru Syrian lines. Gives you an idea of how little manpower the SAA has.

Thegr8rambino

so what should be done about it? maybe russia can bomb any rebel/ISIS convoys travelling along it

Dejan

Map isnt correct bcs Al Mahr, Jihar and Jazal oil fields are also under SAA control

Thegr8rambino

the airbase?? i thought it was still under ISIS

mark123456

What airbase?

Thegr8rambino

Jirah airbase

mark123456

That’s aleppo situation mate, this is homs

Thegr8rambino

Right, I thought he meant the airbase, didn’t know about the jihar oil field

southfront

Dear firend,
First of all, thank you for the feedback. Jihar and Jazal fields are marked by the red circles.
But the info about the liberation of the Al Mahr field is questionable. Do you have any visual confirmation of this?
Sincerely yours,
SF

Not al mahr, not yet

northerntruthseeker .

It would be phenomenal if the good guys, the SAA forces are able to advance towards Deir Ezzor, and even possibly pivot an attack northwest towards Al Raqqa to link with forces attacking in northern Aleppo province…. That would put an end to the fraud US run ISIS once and for all…

But SAA forces are still limited, and their advances will continue to be slow and agonizing….

Dejan

SAA fights on many fronts and they have too small manpower, 100k isnt enough to keep all Syria under control, also syrian government is under western sanctions

Thegr8rambino

this is NOT what they need to be hearing now!! they need words of encouragement and support!!!

Dejan

I have full support for SAA, bcs they are brave warriors and iam surprised how they still advance on all fronts, but they deserve much more help which includes either more manpower or better military equipment

Daniel Castro

Sending top notch military equipment to a country at war is waste, it should be made only as last resort, soldiers need training on new equipment, but on war they will just grab it and go to battle, and they will die wasting their lives and the hardware, we’ve seen this here before. Best to send old stockpiled equipment that troops already know how to operate, give it upgrades, this way they won’t go out thinking to be invincible because they have a new toy. Syria needs manpower, the sad thing is our world most countries are on the wrong side of history, and those who are not are just broken and incapacitated, so we keep throwing the weight over the russians, hisotry reapeats itself over and over again, I am ashamed for my country.

Thegr8rambino

I agree. I just hope more men will join the SAA now that they are starting to win

dez nuts

Well they have some russian special forces and spetznaz working in syria, and dont forget iran and the hezbollah groups, lots of iranians fighting in syria and russians, the SAA is advancing on all fronts for a reason, the russian/iranian/syrian force team is working

Thegr8rambino

true, i wish china would send some, they have like 600 million men fit for service, about 2.5 million active frontline and another 2 million or so in reserve

Thegr8rambino

yes, they should have been given the latest and greatest at the beginning of the war, but i wish china would send some, they have like 4 million men in active frontline and reserve, another 600 million fit for service, even say 50k soldiers would make a huge difference i think

PZIVJ1943

The Chinese numbers would make a difference if they where willing to send them. But I do not think this would go over well with the Muslim population. Having them in a combat situation (even in defense) might help out the Jihadist with recruiting, and give them more will to fight? China can help out with humanitarian and economic aid for sure.
But then again maybe they could be deployed as peacekeepers along the Turkish/FSA lines. This would make Erdogan mind his manners.

Thegr8rambino

yea they could do that, but SAA really needs the numerical superiority right now, i hear they have a big shortage of combat troops, and russia has been helping alot already so i think china really oughta pull its weight too

Thegr8rambino

Yes agree 150%!!

Daniel Castro

Perhaps the eastern powers should send reinforcements to Syria, and I don’t mean russians, russians are doing a lot against zionists already… but we have some very rich eastern countries resting on their laurels…

Dejan

Thats what i was thinking, 50k slodiers for China is nothing

Daniel Castro

At this point it would be just training for them, russians and the SAA have done all the hard work already.

Hoang Mảnh Rừng

Never trust on Chinese! for sure! the price you have to pay will much much bigger.

Thegr8rambino

Why? What do u mean?

Hoang Mảnh Rừng

Right the time you give them the agree to let them in, all low quality goods will been sold to you and they send bad culture peoples and some Chinatown will be built in your country and of cause lots of your women will be their wife. They will just use their workers not any of you, if yes, salary will seems crazy; all in their mind is just how to take much as possible with lowest price as nearly nothing. Dont think that they will come with any good help to your country. Just imagine, they are simple just like hyenas on desert – nothing left for you after they leave.

northerntruthseeker .

Their immediate goals it appears is to widen the Palmyra corridor and to secure the nearby gas and oil fields…. That is still pretty good progress…

Thegr8rambino

very much so!

Hoang Mảnh Rừng

Go Syria, the peace is coming back in your land!

Thegr8rambino

What is that air defense base at the bottom? That could come in handy too
