Iraqi security forces (ISF) have retaken the whole government complex, including the provincial government headquarters, from the ISIS terrorist group in Mosul.

Scores of militants have been killed in this operation, Reuters reported, citing Iraqi Army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Abdel Amir al-Mohammadawi.

This gains allowed ISF to advance further towards the Mosul old city.

The districts of Al-Dandan and Dawasa have been liberated.

The battle for Mosul in reality is over. The fact that Iraqis liberated the goverment complex so easy means that ISIS is not putting big resistance. The battle will end in April.

hope so! but why do you think IS is letting them have it so easy?

Because ISIS put a lot of their troops in Eastern Mosul. The resistance there was the hardest. Now their forces are depleted that they cant resist.
