According to the White House press secretary, US President Donald Trump will continue to do what he thinks is necessary to protect the US.
On Tuesday, press secretary for the White House Sean Spicer replied to a statement of Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who earlier said that US President Donald Trump “showed the real face of the United States,” accusing him of putting a five-year-old in handcuffs.
“I think Iran is kidding itself if they don’t think there’s a new president in town,” Spicer said during a White House’s press briefing, answering a question about the Ayatollah’s comments.
The press secretary accused Tehran of trying to “flout” the Joint Agreement, signed by former US President Barack Obama, and added that Trump would continue to do everything that was necessary to protect the US, as he thought.
“He will continue to take action as he sees fit, and the president has made clear time and time again that he’s not going to project what those actions will be, and he will not take anything off of the table,” Spicer said.
Earlier, the Iranian Ayatollah called for a protest of Trump in the streets in Iran on February 10, saying that “they will show others what kind of stance the nation of Iran takes when threatened.”
Wouldn’t it be a Godsend if the US just “disappeared”? Global peace would be the outcome.
