With the large number of troops on hand , some attention to the north and west might be considered , but focus on Aleppo goes without saying . The world is behind you SAA and Good Friends .

I give
to jihadists only a few days. The most difficult is the last days before
victory. What I see, that SAA proceeds very carefully, with respect their own
lives. Victory is sure, why lost life at the very end of the battle. This
good result in Aleppo campaign will influence the rest of the Syria’ Civil
War. Aleppo town is very important logistic point in Syria. Is very close to
Turkish border, through Aleppo were jihadists supplied by weapons and jihadi warriors
from Turkey. Loosing Aleppo, jihadi loosing main pillar of their expansion
through Northern Syria. Another thing is Tadmur (Palmyra) events. A mighty wave
of jihadi warriors, with high probability, influx from Iraq Mosul operation,
came to east Homs and try pull down the SAA symbolic victory in Palmyra
liberation, couple month ago. Nevertheless, they managed only push out the SAA
from Ancient City, the western part of town SAA steel keeps. And rumor has it something
about counteroffensive…

Remember when the jihadist broke the siege in Aleppo.Well after 5 months see the situation in Aleppo. The same thing will happen with ISIS in Palmyra and the surroundings.

A new liberation of Palmira taking 5 month, is very long. Palmyra is not so startegical point i Syria war. They need to unsettle coming Aleppo sucess. Probably is some cooperation between jihadi groups of ISIL/ISIS and western backed “moderate oposition”…

I dont think it will take 5 months. And I agree it is not very strategic. The problem is that somebody should relieve the heroes in Deir Al Zor.And for now I dont see anybody going there.Iraqis were my hope, but they are too slow in Mosul.

alexis

Understand you. Deir Al Zour is very heroic town. A years fully encircled by ISIS, still counteracts. Probably it will be left on SAA to liberate them…

ISIS seized a lot of equipment and I am afraid that they will use it against the SAA in Deir Al Zor.But I am still sure that the city wont fall.
