The Yemeni war (2015-present) began between two factions claiming to constitute the Yemeni government. Houthi forces allied with forces loyal to the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh confronted forces loyal to the Saudi-backed government of Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.
In March 2015, Houthi-Saleh forces captured Sana, the last remaining stronghold of pro-Hadi forces. Hadi fled to Saudi Arabia that responded with a large-scale invasion to Yemen in an attempt to re-establish its proxy in power.
ISIS and al-Qaeda were also involved in the conflict, carrying out attacks across the country.
lol
You’re trying to tell me that the houthi’s are close to defeat(near end of vid “both parties are near edge of defeat”)
I beg to differ, entirely.
The houthi’s continue to march on najran and the noose grows tighter everyday.
The houthi’s have recently demolished a saudi led cross border convoy that resulted in at least a hundred saudi soldier deaths, it was a massacre.
Does this sound like a combatant that is on the edge of failure?
Hardly…
Whereas the saudi’s continue to lose ground, men, and material. Sure, they can easily replace it all, but the saudi coffers are starting to break as they have recently had a bond sale, signalling that all is not well in the saudi economy…
50% of the yemeni population is starving to death at this moment . If no one will do something that will only get worse, and it will be a defeat no matter the situation on the ground is. The only thing Russia has to do is stop the blockade and give humanitarian aid.
“The only thing Saudi Arabia has to do is stop the blockade and give humanitarian aid.”
There, fixed it for ya…

The map shows the suadis want control of the bab el mandeb strait. Once they get that they will starve the country and bring in more troops and equipment via sea.
The saudis will then stab Russia in the back and deny them access to the Mediterranean through Suez.

The Yemeni people are in desperate need of humanitarian aid. Somehow the naval blockade has to be removed or be made to move aside to let food and medicine through. The terrorists and relatively few civilians in the Aleppo pocket got that, so why not roughly half the nation of Yemen? Yet western central bank ruled countries expect people to believe they care about civilians in Aleppo.
