Key Militant-Controlled Town Surrenders to Syrian Army in Western Ghouta

Zakiyah town in Western Ghouta could be surrendered to the Syrian army soon, various pro-government sources reported on October 18.

According to the alleged agreement, the militants deployed in Zakiyah will be transported to the province of Idlib and the government will set the full control of the town.

The news followed the report that militants will withdraw from the Mo’adhimiyah Al-Sham suburb of Damascus.
