For the past week, non-combat losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reached 110 people, Commander of the Operational Command of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Major-General Denis Sinenkov, said at a briefing on Friday.

“A critical number of non-combat losses of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been recorded this week. According to our data, more than 110 Ukrainian servicemen have been taken to military hospitals for this week,” Sinenkov said.

He also added that at the same time, the number of facts of defections among Ukrainian military is also growing.

“In particular, on October 4, two soldiers of the 37th Battalion of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, stationed in Novoselovka in Volnovakha district, left the unit’s lines without any permission, taking with them automatic weapons and ammunition for it,” the DPR commander gave an example.
