Seventh Day Straight: Russia Continues Missile And Drone Attacks On Kyiv And Odesa

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of September 2, Russian forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, two Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles, and 174 attack drones at Ukraine.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that strikes were directed at logistics centers, port infrastructure, and energy facilities used in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The series of strikes targeted facilities in Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

FACILITIES STRUCK BY REGION

Kyiv Region

• Logistics center “Chayky” (village of Chayky) – a warehouse cluster of Alpha Development Group, used for storing foreign dual-use goods, including components for medium- and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.

• Logistics center “Fire Point” (Vyshneve).

• Logistics center “Stellar Jet” (Vyshneve).

• Logistics center “Eridon” (Vyshneve) – used for storage and distribution of military cargo.

• Logistics center “Raven Ukraine” (area of Brovary).

• Logistics center FM Logistic (area of Dudarkiv) – warehouses used for storage of dual-use goods and UAV components.

• A FedEx warehouse near Kyiv.

• Central warehouse of Ukrainian wine retailers Okwine and Wine Hunters.

• Logistics center (settlement of Korchevate) – storage and distribution of cargo for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

• Ukrainian State Radio Frequency Center (Kyiv) – responsible for frequency assignment, radio monitoring, electromagnetic compatibility calculations, interference source identification, and maintenance of radio equipment registries.

Odesa Region

During the night of September 2, four energy infrastructure facilities supporting Ukrainian port operations were struck.

In the port of Odesa, the following were struck:

• Experimental production facility for unmanned surface vessels.

• Six fuel storage tanks containing fuel intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

• Warehouses with military-technical property.

• Berths No. 26 and No. 35 of the Odesa Seaport.

In the port of Chornomorsk:

• A dry-cargo vessel carrying military property for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Black Sea:

• A dry-cargo vessel carrying weapons and ammunition.

Other facilities:

• Odesa-22 JSC distribution center (area of the settlement of Dachne, Odesa Region).

• A logistics center in the area of Nerubaiske.

Energy infrastructure:

• 330/110 kV substation “Usatovo” – one of the key power supply hubs of the Odesa energy grid.

• 330/110 kV substation “NovoOdeska” – a backbone element of the southern power system.

• 220/110 kV substation “Tsentrolit” – a high-voltage distribution node for the city’s industrial and municipal sectors.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

• Territory of the regional branch of “Prydniprovska Railway” in Samoilovka – a facility involved in receiving and dispatching railcar shipments and servicing industrial cargo.

• A train operating on the Odesa–Dnipropetrovsk route was struck in the vicinity of Dnipropetrovsk.

Thus, the main focus of Russian strikes on September 1–2 was logistics centers in Kyiv Region linked to the storage of dual-use goods and UAV components. In Odesa Region, strikes targeted port infrastructure, energy facilities, and fuel depots — reflecting a systematic pattern of attacks on Ukraine’s transportation and logistics networks.
