- Russian strikes destroyed targets in Sumy, Romny, Kharkiv, Volchansk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Odesa, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and the DPR;
- According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 74 missiles and 496 UAVs of various types were launched over Ukraine on the night of July 2;

- Russian forces struck military airfield infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions;
- Ukrainian losses amounted to approximately 1,575 troops over the past 24 hours.
