The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has seized the villages of Ilan and Kharufiyah Saghirah from the ISIS terrorist group in the areas west and south of the recently liberated town of Manbij.
Ilan is located merely 23 km from the strategic ISIS-controlled town of Al Bab in the Syrian province of Aleppo. With the recent reports that the predominantly Kurdish SDF has created the Al Bab Military Council, it’s easy to suggest that the US-backed Kurds are going to re-take from ISIS this major Arab city. This will allow them to make another step on their long way to liking the four cantons of Rojava along the Syrian-Turkish border.
isn’t it better to take ain al beida , bring the troops over the river euphrat and do later incirclements ,
or is it so dangerous , because of turkey , or are the daesh troops are wanted as an buffer between
turkeys border and an eventually linked rojava ? but turkey can fall in each time and then it would make no diffrence if daesh troops and rebels are there. i think it would be better there are no rebels or daesh and take al bab later.
