The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it struck a tanker attempting to transport Iranian oil on June 10, marking the third commercial ship disabled by U.S. forces this week.

In a statement ,the command said that an American aircraft fired two “Hellfire missiles” into the engine room of the tanker, identified as the Guinea-Bissau flagged Jalveer, after the crew “repeatedly failed to comply with directions from U.S. forces.”

The Palau-flagged vessels Marivex and Settebello were struck by U.S. forces in a similar fashion on June 7 and 8, respectively. CENTCOM said that Marivex violated the blockade on Iran by attempting to sail to a port in the Islamic Republic and Settebello attempted to transport Iranian oil.

U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the blockade on Iranian ports just four days after the ceasefire went into effect, in response to the Islamic Republic’s restriction on maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz — a checkpoint for around 20 percent of global oil and liquefied natural gas shipments.

CENTCOM noted in its latest statement that its forces have disabled nine non-compliant vessels, redirected 135 ships that complied, and allowed 42 vessels supporting humanitarian aid to pass since initiating the blockade on April 13.

“The blockade is being enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman,” the command warned.

The latest attack came after the U.S. launched an extensive wave of strikes against Iran, mainly hitting air defenses and radar sites close to the Strait of Hormuz.

The Islamic Republic responded by attacking key American bases in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain with ballistic missiles and one-way attack drones.

The United States is clearly planning to escalate further. Following the overnight strikes, Trump hinted that additional attacks are coming. Iran will certainly respond, and it is even possible that the Islamic Republic will consider pre-emptive military action.

no aircraft carriers to sink ? iran, and others, should increase the kill rate on the nazis. you cant exactly say that they understand this, but in the end it will be a shortage of them, as in ukraine.
