On January 28, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.

11 of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.

An additional video shows more drone attacks from several directions by the Russian military’s elite Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies “Rubicon” that targeted at least 14 radars, including Soviet-made 36D6s, P-18s, 79K6s, and a PRV-16ML. Most of the attacks were carried out using so-called BM-35 fixed-wing suicide drones.

Another video from the border area along Kharkiv and Sumy shows a precision artillery strike on a building occupied by Kiev forces. Krasnopol guided shells were used.

In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “the storage and pre-launch areas of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, a fuel base, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 158 areas” over the past 24 hours. Russian air defenses intercepted 175 fixed-wing drones during the same period, the ministry said.

According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 111,406 drones, 646 air defense systems, 27,349 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,652 multiple rocket launchers, 32,903 artillery pieces, and 53,043 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
