On December 3, the Russian military advanced around the city of Pokrovsk, which is already under its control, and near the city of Sivers, where it is already engaged in a fierce battle with Kiev forces, in Donetsk.

The Tsentr [Center] Group of Forces expanded its control in the southern part of Grishino, also known as Hryshyne, approaching the center of the settlement, which is located to the northwest of Pokrovsk. Russian troops stormed the settlement just a few days earlier, and their continued advance there indicates that Kiev forces are failing to organize their defenses.

The troops also advanced to the north of Pokrovsk, capturing the last pig farm to the south of Rodynske. This push tightened the siege on remaining Ukrainian troops in Myrnohrad, also known as Dimitrov, which is located to the east of the city.

It’s worth noting that the Tsentr Group of Forces has already secured the southern part of Myrnohrad, and is advancing at a steady pace in the northern part of the large settlement.

The Russian military is clearly working to clear all the areas around Pokrovsok, from Grishino to Rodynske and Myrnohrad. Once these operations are completed, a large attack northwards the city of Dobropillya, a command and logistic hub of Kiev forces, is expected.

To the east in Donetsk, Ukraine is about to receive another defeat in Siversk, where the Yug [South] Group of Forces is advancing.

Much of Siversk’s eastern and southern parts have been already captured by Russian troops. Meanwhile, to the southeast of the city, the troops cut the key T-05-13 road after storming Sviato-Pokrovske. Around half of the settlement has already been captured.

Ukrainian troops in Siversk and nearby areas have very much lost all of their main supply routes. The city will likely be captured by the Russian military before the end of the year.

The defeat in Pokrovsk was a major blow to Ukraine. The heavy losses Kiev forces took while attempting to hold onto the city have degraded their capabilities. This is very notable not only in Siversk, but also in other directions of Donetsk like the cities of Krasny Liman and Kostiantynivka.

all competent well equipped highly trained ukie brigades have been eliminated. what remains are conscrpts hardly trained poorly equipped and some mercenaries us uk military managed by an overwhelmed officer corps desperate to fill more gaps as russian troops more active on new fronts
