Russian units have raised the national flag in the southern part of Vovchansk. Twelve attempts to break out from the Pokrovsk area have been repelled over the past day. The Russian Armed Forces have gained control of several supply routes in the Krasny Liman sector.
Sumy Sector
A series of Russian strikes with glide bombs, suicide drones and missiles targeted the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in this direction to support units advancing there.
On the right flank of the offensive, marine infantry units of the Russian «North» grouping have advanced 100 meters through the tree lines and consolidated their positions. Three attempts by combat groups to advance in the Andriivka, Kondrativka and Varachino areas were thwarted by heavy fire.
In the Tetkino and Hlushkovo sectors, a wave of missile strikes hit Ukrainian positions in the Pavlivka area. Some AFU units are reportedly experiencing a shortage of personnel on the front lines.
Kharkiv Sector
Assault groups are advancing on Vovchansk, the Synelnykove forest and the Khaterne sector, supported by air, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems. Russian units have raised the national flag in the southern part of Vovchansk.
On the left bank of the city, units advanced 300 meters and secured 20 buildings. In the forested area to the west of Synelnykove, two strong points were captured and an advance of 150 meters was made. In the Melove-Khatne area, units advanced 700 meters along tree lines, expanding the controlled zone.
Ukrainian UAV units were reported destroyed in the Hoptivka area.
Kupyansk Sector:
Operations to contain the Ukrainian troop grouping are ongoing in the Kupyansk area of Kharkiv Oblast. Over the past day, four counterattacks by the 92nd Assault Brigade, the 151st Mechanized Brigade and the 1st National Guard Brigade in Monachynivka, Blahodatne and Petrivka were repelled.
Meanwhile, Russian forces are advancing in the Kucherivka area, to the east of Kupyansk. There have been tactical successes to the west of the city, in the Kondrashivka area. Russian units are constantly monitoring the Oskil riverbed and using firepower to prevent the AFU from attempting to build a crossing over the river. On the northern flank, Russian forces are advancing from Bolohivka and Kamianka towards Dvurechne in an attempt to eliminate the large «bulge» between these bridgeheads.
Kostiantynivka Sector
In the Oleksandro-Kalynove and Kleban-Byk areas, the Russian army is fighting positional battles for the dominant heights and road junctions that provide flank cover for advancing forces. The zone of control has expanded in Ivanopillya and the area between this village and Oleksandro-Shultyne. Russian units have advanced in the Novomarkove area, expanding the zone of control near Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
Pokrovsk Sector
In Pokrovsk, Russian units have consolidated their positions in the western and eastern parts of the city, along Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy, Prokofiev and Tsentralna Streets. Active combat is ongoing in the northwestern, central and northeastern parts of the city.
According to Russian command data, the AFU made 12 attempts to break out of the city area during the day, all of which were repelled. Ukrainian units are being eliminated in the residential areas of the Pryhorodnyi microdistrict, the eastern part of the Tsentralnyi district and the private sector. An offensive is underway in the Northern Sector, with the settlements of Hnativka and Roh being secured.
In Myrnohrad, 19 buildings in the northern, eastern and southeastern parts of the city have been captured. Aviation is striking positions in the Shakhta No. 3 and Vuhlepromtrans areas.
Reports indicate the development of the Russian army’s offensive from several strong points in Pokrovsk and the expansion of control over the industrial zone.
Krasny Liman Sector
The RAF now control the supply roads from Sloviansk through Nikolaivka to Staryi Karavan, and the Starodubivka-Kryva Luka and Ilyichivka areas. Crossing points near Raigorodok and Zakotne have been destroyed.
The Russian Army’s 237th Tank Regiment continues to clear strong points beyond the Petrovske settlement.
Zaporizhzhia Sector
There are ongoing fierce battles in the Stepnohirsk and Uspenivka settlements, where Russian paratroops are conducting offensive operations against reinforced defensive positions.
In the Orikhiv sector, combat is of a positional nature. Units of the Russian «Vostok» grouping are advancing west of Vyshneve along tree lines towards the Huliaipole-Pokrovske highway.
Conclusion
The operational situation on the main fronts is characterised by ongoing active combat. In the Sumy sector, the fighting remains largely positional, with local advances by Russian units. In the Kharkiv sector, there has been methodical advancement in Vovchansk and the surrounding area. In the Pokrovsk sector, intense urban combat continues and the control zone is expanding. In the Kupyansk and Krasny Liman sectors, operations are underway to destroy encircled groups and establish control over logistics routes. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the situation remains tense, with positional battles taking place in certain areas. Overall, the dynamics of the combat operations indicate that Russian units are maintaining the offensive against organized resistance from the AFU.
Against the backdrop of the evolving military situation, The European Conservative, citing data from the French Institute of International Relations, highlights the limited defense capabilities of European NATO countries. According to the data, by 2025, 20 out of the 30 European NATO members will have professional ground forces totaling fewer than 15,000 personnel. Despite politicians such as Ursula von der Leyen calling for the defense of the alliance’s territory, Europe is facing a «horrifying picture» in terms of shell production and lacks sufficient weaponry for a confrontation with Russia.
Brussels’ efforts to strengthen the army amount to an arms race that lacks public support or real industrial capacity. The article emphasizes the existing contradiction: ‘Politicians speak the language of war, but govern as if peace were guaranteed.’ Ultimately, the publication argues that the bloc is not prepared for a large-scale conflict and is largely reliant on protection from the United States and the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine.

to 1970’s, the best time. but the ukraine will be disassembled, malorossia and novorossia will be parts of russia, poland probably will take lvov, hungary — uzhgorod, romania – chernovtsy. check the map before 1939 when the ussr returned these historical regions which were outside of russia for centuries. reconquest begun in 1480s when ivan iii (third) the great took some lands from lithuania back. then 2 more wars with lithuania and numerous wars with poland. 17th century – return of kiev.
