On August 2, several videos documenting recent Russian combat operations against Kiev forces were posted to social networks.
Five of the videos show recent attacks with FPV multirotor suicide drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Two more videos show a strike with precision-guided artillery rockets from a Tornado-S launcher on a drone post near the settlement of Seversk in Donetsk and attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones on a recruitment office in the settlement of Druzhkivka in the same direction.
Three additional videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit Ukrainian posts and fortifications near the settlements of Plescheevka and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk direction and close to the settlement of Zeleny Hai in the Kherson direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) depots and temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries” in 132 areas over the past 24 hours.
Russian air defenses also shot down one guided aviation bomb and 338 fixed-wing drones during the same period, the ministry added.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 664 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 74,186 drones, 624 air defense systems, 24,418 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,584 multiple rocket launchers, 28,103 artillery pieces, and 39,015 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
