Ukrainian forces successfully targeted Russian S-300 air defense system in Belgorod region in a recent precision strike, using US-supplied HIMARS MLRS. The footage confirmed the attack, highlighting some vulnerabilities in Russian air defense deployments near the border regions, but confirmed that the launchers did not suffer damage.
According to preliminary reports, the strike hit the advanced anti-aircraft system deployed dangerously close to frontline areas. The S-300’s proximity to combat zones made it susceptible to Ukrainian long-range precision fires.
The strike follows a pattern of Ukrainian attacks on Russian air defense installations, as Kyiv seeks to degrade Moscow’s ability to protect critical military infrastructure near the border. Russian forces have increasingly positioned strategic systems like the S-300 near frontlines to counter Ukrainian aircraft and drones, but this leaves them exposed to precision missile attacks.
This successful strike demonstrates Ukraine’s continued ability to leverage Western-supplied weapons systems to target high-value Russian military assets, even as Moscow attempts to adapt its air defense posture along the frontline regions.
s300 holes, s300 sieves, wasn’t that the best system in the world? were they lying to us? i’m kidding
i have not heard of any strategic anti air defense able to shoot down artillery
we have had successful artillery interceptors for nearly 30 years. that’s why bases that terrorists are trained on in the middle east are untouchable.
no, they are untouchable because of “accords” between factions. and because military superpowers avoid direct conflict at all costs. it’s all big theatre.
but air defenses aren’t invincible. the russian air defenses are the best in the world. but not invincible they are only one cog in the war machine.
ciws are able to target any mlrs. grad rockets were regularly intercepted in iraq over the green zone.
normal! you must be deaf or stupid or both, who knows
no s-300 launchers and radar have been hit, i dont see any secondary explosions, looks like inflate decoy
doesn’t look like much of a hit to me. maybe they’ve run out of clusterheads too.
it was, maybe 25 years ago.
nah that’s obviously your zionzai iron doom and davy’s g string. duh
the footage confirmed the attack, highlighting some vulnerabilities in russian air defense deployments near the border regions, but confirmed that the launchers did not suffer damage.
to čo zasiahli? kuchyňu?
more ukrainian ai propaganda. the last russian s-300 was retired in 2019.
party pooper aren’t you ? 🙂
still there is referencing to this ‘ukranian’ past tense entity in these articles when the reality is nato.
according to jacques baud the russians have ew which they use on himars so i agree fake news
it comes down to human error not on duty. russ needs ai integrated target watch as most likely the operator went to take a piss and was not monitoring. west with many countries including usa are actively using sattelight to scan and find targets for ukraine.
i have a question when is russia going to hit nato assets and logistics hubs where these arms are stored before being sent on, russia has been fighting with one arm tied behind their backs.
a russian attack on nato territory would trigger world war iii. that would mean millions would be forced into the army. you and your dad included. stop believing this propaganda nonsense. the russians also make propaganda, just like the west and every other government in the world.
would it? if russia took out some nato ships or or the british base on cyprus what would they do? their bluff needs calling, british missiles like storm shadow have been used against russia, that should not be tolerated.
no need to… just take down dnieper bridges! nato weaponry won´t reach the frontline! but russia is too “chivalrous” for that!
avea nevoie de un pantir.
now murika will spend more money de-basing its currency with this game changing wonder weapon that won’t win the war . all hail israel
3 piccole bombe atomiche e sono ko.
bit strange this video, 1) launchers way too close to each other 2) other command and radar parked side by side? 3) back ground seems to change while vehicles don’t ?
hmmm
i’ve prophesied it before. we’ll take back königsberg and let ukraine pave our way to moscow. the end of the barbaric orcs is near.
and you saw that in what hollywood movie?
tom cruise and the ghost of kiev won the war single handed. the heroes of snake island have raised the ukronazi flag over the kremlin.
lol, soon we’ll see movies with ukies as hero’s…wearing ss emblems
:-)
russia should make a movie in polish about the upa/oun massacring polish villagers in the 40’s and distribute it free on line.
i don’t know… all the hollywood movies involving germans i’ve seen has them as the bad guys.
stupid russian command decision, not the first one.
all big tubes need protection from small tubes like pantsir’s, especially that pantsir cas use the s350’s radar and merge the data with it’s own, giving a better view.
an american system guided by american satellites… and russia still licking paedophile drumpf wounds?
the necessity of a hi-low/short-long range sam combination again is shown by another russian tactical defeat…
the launchers weren´t hit. another ukro pr stunt…pretty weak attack by the himars “wunderwaffe” repleceable parts of the s-300 pmu2, which russia still have more than 100… but again, russia has enough type of sams to combine them in a real battle group, against all the kinds of enemy attacks… a combination of s-300/400 family and mobile tor/tunguska/pantsyr systems…
russia still field modernized s-300 pmu2, which is pretty capable btw… but, again a necessity of a mixed air defense hi-lo/short-range was shown… modern warfare isn´t the 80s… russian drones take down dozens of nato air defense… a loitering drone could easily make a lot of damage to a s-300 battery, as the name says, it´s made of dozens of parts… so, not destroyed!
again, the necessity of take down dniepr bridges, built by soviet union…the only rational explanation is that russia wants to test it´s weapons against nato! so, it can afford the losses!
it only needs one weapon against nato.
my theory is that russia is accepting the losses and the “red line” crossing by nato to gain battlefield experience…which isn´t happening to nato/us that are comfortable in their sofas in the west. the number of innovations russia has fielded in this war would be impossible without the experience of war itself… so, no ceasefire. not this year, not in the next… except if ukrainian regime crumbles by itself, which is quite probable!
orckies go “boom-boom bye-bye”!!!
heheheh
a minor symbolic strike that will not alter the outcome of the conflict.
no secondary explosion. they either missed, or hit a decoy that was put out in the open to draw fire.
time to take out those musk and natostan gizmos in space.
