Russian forces launched another series of precision strikes against military and infrastructure targets across Ukrainian rear regions overnight, including Odessa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Mykolaiv regions, and the part of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The attacks, carried out using Geran-type kamikaze UAVs, inflicted significant damage on key facilities.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in total, Russian forces launched 136 UAVs. 54 kamikaze drones were allegedly intercepted, while 70 decoy drones disappeared inflicting no damage. Despite the claimed success of Ukrainian air defense, the Ukrainian military was forced to officially confirm damage in the Odessa, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
At night, Kharkiv and Odessa came under devastating concentrated attacks, with at least two dozen strikes recorded in each city.
In Kharkiv, the strikes lasted over two hours, with more than 20 confirmed attacks on military and logistical sites across the city’s Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi, and Industrial districts. Videos and photos from the scene show fires and extensive destruction following the drone swarm assault.
The confirmed targets include the local military recruitment center on the Velika Panasivka street; Betonetalon industrial plant, which produced fortifications for the Ukrainian military, located on the Industrialna street; Britain restaurant was struck on the Shevchenko street, it was probably used as a hidden HQ of the mobile air defense group or a base of military communication.
The southern city of Odessa and its surrounding region also faced a heavy bombardment, with Russian drones targeting port infrastructure, logistics hubs and energy station.
Russian kamikaze drones struck the local Zolote Runo and Black Sea Fishing Port enterprises, turned into logistics hubs, were struck in Burlacha Balka. Fuel depot and military equipment of the Ukrainian military were destroyed.
More military depots were struck on the territory of the sea port in Chornomorsk (formerly Illichevsk). Warehouses, repair equipment and fuel depots were destroyed as a result of Russian strikes on vocational lyceums of ship repair in the coastal villages of Malodolinsky and Alexandrovka.
According to local reports, Russian strikes also damaged an energy substation in the village of Malodolynske.
The mass attack on the port facilities suggests an ongoing effort to disrupt Ukrainian maritime logistics and operations in the Black Sea.
Strikes of Russian new Banderol UAVs were reported in the Mykolaiv region, where a military base destroyed near Koblevo.

Further east, in the war-torn town of Kramatorsk, Russian strikes hit the premises of the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant, a facility with both civilian and military significance. Local reports describe multiple powerful explosions, raising concerns over potential secondary detonations if munitions were stored on-site.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continued their own drone operations, achieving no success. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in total, 105 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed in 11 rear regions, including 19 drones that targeted Moscow. LINK
The exchange of long-range drone attacks underscores the escalating intensity of the conflict, with Russia prioritizing strikes on enemy logistics, energy infrastructure, and military-industrial sites, while Kyiv is busy looking for media victories.
