Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message to Syria’s interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa supporting efforts to stabilize the situation in the country and saying Russia is ready to engage in “practical cooperation”, TASS reported on MAR.
Putin confirmed “Russia’s continuing readiness to develop practical cooperation with the Syrian leadership on the whole range of issues on the bilateral agenda in order to strengthen traditionally friendly Russian-Syrian relations,” the Russian state news agency quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying.
Russia remains one of the main players in Syria. The country maintains a strong military presence with an air base near the town of Khmeimim and a naval base in Tartus port.
President Putin’s message to Sharaa came after the government unleashed a deadly crackdown on the coast, the heartland of the Alawite religious minority which former president Bashar al-Assad belongs to. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, over 1,500 civilians, mostly Alawites, were killed by government forces during the crackdown.
Responding to the killings, Russia opened its Khmeimim Air Base for some eight thousand Alawites refugees and called on all “respected” leaders of the country to stop the bloodshed.
Later, Russia worked with the United States in the United Nations Security Council to issue a statement condemning the massacres and demanding the Syrian interim government to hold those responsible accountable.
The government has launched an investigation into the deadly events. However, it is yet to hold anyone accountable despite the fact that some of the perpetrators have been identified from footage documenting the killings.
With no trust in the government, Alawites taking refuge in Khmeimim have refused to leave the air base and demanded international protection.
One way for al-Sharaa to overcome this situation which threatens the legitimacy of his government, would be to allow Russia to play a direct role in guaranteeing the security on the coast.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov offered Syria security cooperation right after the fall of the Assad regime last December. However, there was no response from al-Sharaa back then. It won’t be a surprise if President Putin made a similar offer to the emerging leader in his latest message.
Allowing Russia, which enjoys close relations with the Alawite community, to play a role in guaranteeing the security on the coast could help ease tensions and preserve the unity of the country. Still, it is unclear if Sharaa, who appears to be determined to subdue the Alawites, would accept this.

there’s no negotiating or cooperating with terrorists, or so i thought smh 🤦

retrograde, which followed the officer, then in control of the entire afghan army, as he sought to hold the line amid crumbling order in the final days before the fall of kabul. sadat, 39, is a polarizing figure. in his memoir “the last commander,” published in august by bombardier books, he admits his blunt and combative manner garnered powerful enemies — including ashraf ghani, the last president of afghanistan — and sometimes put him at odds with the
don’t worry, in four years a democrat will come to the white house and then russia will pay for this. there will be a unification between europe and the usa and then it will be the end of russia. even hitler didn’t know the end was near, but it was close.
only brain dead morons would vote for the corrupt, obvious criminal party called the democrats. unfortunately almost half of the country fits that description so you may not be wrong.
that’s why negotiating with russia is absolutely pointless.
u.s. generals ostensibly there to support afghan military efforts. in one of the book’s scenes, he describes telling off a u.s. army one-star who demanded he and other afghan soldiers be searched and turn over their weapons before entering their own headquarters for a mission briefing.
ultimately, sadat said he threatened to shut the general out of the meeting entirely.
former afghan lt. gen. sami sadat believes he’ll once again see that flag ascend in afghan skies.
this is his home, and also the hub for the afghanistan united front, an organization he founded — and largely self-funds — to “unite afghans and return afghanistan to the constitutional order, ensuring that afghans can enjoy freedom, peace, and prosperity.”
inside the house, behind sadat’s desk, is another afghan flag, one he took from the compound of the provincial governor of
alawites have been defeated because they didnt want to fight like kurds, libyans or palestinians…so putin just offer “the donkey load of gold” to another tribe.
“i walked in with all my combat gear on, carrying my m-4 rifle,” sadat writes. “i hated myself for being so rude, but we needed to make a point. this was our war. america was a supporting partner.”
by sadat’s account, the months prior to the 2020 doha agreement, a peace deal with the taliban that set the stage for u.s. withdrawal, had yielded significant victories by the afghan military in holding and retaking key territory.
after this. he needs to be removed from office now. he’s not only a liability but a traitor to all his armed forces that fought and died in aleppo to keep syria free. does not bode well for ukraine either…
stuff like this is why you cannot trust anything. countries are nothing but neo feudal corporatocracies used like chess pieces by the neo feudal banking overlords. globalists dont have ideologies only interests. their only flag is money and power. now i am glad that russian oligarchs were pushed out of the west and billions of dollars were confiscated
the mold was cast with the event(s) in lower manhattan and washington d.c. almost 2 1/2 decades ago. can anyone reasonably argue that had the un/unsc demanded an investigation of the evidence which was being removed by the most unusual partners that headed on a slow boat east that this world would be a different and better place today had the un security council demanded action within the first year that the u.$. refused to respond?
everything that g.h.w. bush declared about a nwo 12 years earlier came true! and mikhail gorbachev, boris yeltsin and vladimir putin just proves that point. what makes it far worse is that russia for the past 30 years keeps drawing the short straw and accommodates that abuse from it’s international partner(s) at it’s own citizens peril (increasingly so) willingly.
the skull and bones bush family had great impact when running the pirate ship . 911 and terrorist became mainstream terms .
“we need something for now to bind our legal claim, and that is the constitution and a constitutional order,” he said.
the extent of sadat’s network of allies is hard to ascertain. his book features advance praise from h.r. mcmaster, a former u.s. national security advisor and retired army lieutenant general who calls it “an invaluable perspective on the american self-defeat in afghanistan.”
sadat insisted on standing behind afghanistan’s last constitution, and its final flag. nrf leaders perceived a power struggle, and sadat ended up on his own. he now says he’s open to changes to the afghan government once the people are back in control, but believes the guiding documents and symbols of the country must remain constant until then.
the afghanistan united front, or auf, is itself something of an act of defiance. it shares many common aims with the national resistance front (nrf) of afghanistan, led by former afghan politician ahmad massoud and headquartered in tajikistan.
sadat said he reached out to massoud soon after the fall of afghanistan with interest in joining his movement, but the nrf had adopted an approach — and older afghan flag — associated with mujahideen factions of the 1990s.
but the the european peoples economy is needlessly crashing from the loss of cheap russian energy . trade is a benefit to all . the eu leadership only delivers self destructive policies to thier peoples . the illegal confiscation of russian money brought the birth of brics .
sadat has also toured with australian counterinsurgency expert david kilcullen and thomas kasza, a u.s. army veteran who founded an organization to support afghans who assisted special operations troops. in 2022, sadat met with house foreign affairs committee chair michael mccaul, r-texas, and became a contributor to the republican-led committee report on afghanistan’s fall released in september.
the oligarchs were not pushed out of the west they live in expensive parts of london and paris, they would be arrested if they returned to russia.
sadat said he aligns with the report’s perspective on president joe biden, whose “abandonment” of afghanistan speaks, he believes, to biden’s longstanding contempt for the country. and while he remains in friendly communication with other u.s. military leaders he once worked with in afghanistan, those individuals have made clear they are unable to get involved in his cause, he said.
the handoff process needed to keep the aircraft maintained and flying, according to his memoir. sadat describes the pain of listening to u.s. troops blow up their remaining caches of ammunition, leaving none behind for afghan allies. it makes his frustration and helplessness visceral.
“as a time when we were rationing every round, the sight of mortar shells being fired uselessly into the desert, one after another, was demoralizing,” he writes.
sadat felt the deal hamstrung afghan forces, limiting their ability to engage with and pursue the taliban just as their military efforts were gaining momentum. it was a feeling of betrayal, sadat says in his book, that would only be compounded the following year as american forces began to withdraw.
in may 2021, all the contractors responsible for the afghans’ fleet of black hawk helicopters left at the same time, without
the long game is for stability . but i do not know what russian plan is other than survival . theatre for now .
where he has the most support, meanwhile, is at the ground level of his home country, among the scattered afghan military forces.“we could mobilize tens of thousands of soldiers in a matter of months,” he said, adding that the taliban’s suffocating rule in afghanistan was also stirring up the fight in young men who’d never previously served. “we believe that thousands and thousands of fresh recruits will also rush to the call.” sadat says he believes ‘tens of thousands’ of afgh
russia is so fucking stupid, all of the respect and admiration the world has had for russia, when they prevented assad from being overthrown, has completely reversed, now no one respects putin! hello with stupid decisions like this you can argue that putin doesn’t even respect himself or his people!
russia is not stupid the government is just owned by jews and they serve the jewish interests above anything else. its just a different perspective and explains why they let syria fall into barbarism istead of helping the saa to hold power back in december
but he wishes the report probed deeper into the risk the taliban pose today, not only to the afghan people, but also to the western world as the extremist movement gains strength and lends support to other radical islamist groups. “another 9/11 attack and major global attacks is not a matter of if; it’s a matter of when, because they’re preparing,” sadat said. “so, there are two ways the americans can do this.
yes, all democratic governments are zionist. israel was created by the democraticaly designed u.n.
democracy is the beast that gives antichrist zionism its power.
sadat says he believes ‘tens of thousands’ of afghan fighters would rally to defeat the taliban once called upon. (courtesy of sami sadat) before that comes to fruition, lessons must be gleaned from failures of the past. sadat said he believes the hfac republicans’ report provided “a sense of accountability” for the u.s. government’s mistakes and failures in afghanistan leading up to the country’s collapse.
how to ensure israel’s security in any situation. pining to get back to jerusalem where he can bash his head against the wall of herod’s old fort, again. the agony and the ecstasy of it all. 👊
one way is to support us, so we can go and … destroy them inside afghanistan. the other way is, the americans wait and fight them in europe and the middle east and inside america.”
it remains unclear when the time will be right for auf to launch its planned political and military offensive against the taliban. sadat said he can’t discuss the timeline, but made clear the group can’t afford to wait forever.
great response 👍 everything just fell into place and it’s all so clear now. 👏
in rural mason neck, virginia, among homes with confederate flags hanging out front and towering pickup trucks occupying driveways, a stately brick mansion makes for an unexpected neighbor.
in the home’s front lawn, sitting amid manicured shrubs, rises an even more unusual sight: the flag of the islamic republic of afghanistan. it is one that has not flown in its own country since 2021, when u.s. forces departed and top leaders fled, ceding control to the taliban.
putin is one of them. stop thinking there is any difference in the u.s. and russia’s zionist goals.
don’t worry, russia will go the way of yugoslavia. the priest promised me that russia would be completely destroyed and that europe would grind russia into dust and ashes. the end of russia is closer than anyone could have imagined.
tell me the account number so i can transfer €1,000.
for that much money you can get 50 masses.
a mocking bird repeats the same song . you must really like your cage .
i’m already outside, and i can see the traitor putler exactly. the druze have an ally and the alawites have trusted iran and russia and now everyone is dead, even those who haven’t been slaughtered yet. the druze protect israel and israel protect the druze and the druze, together with the israelis, fight against terrorists. i hope some houthis see what an ally iran is. if you have iran and russia as your allies, you are alone, dead and too stupid to know you are dead.
yes their army will find their end on the hills of judea when jahweh destroy them. together with the army’s of iran and turkey they will be buried in hamona, near dhiban in jordan. it will be the end of the islam.
in samaria, the druze have their allies and the druze even have permission to pilot israeli planes. and the israelites end up giving them the same salary as the jews. well, afghanistan had soldiers, syria had only russian whores. h tt p s :/ / n o rth-a fgh anis tan .b logs pot. com/202 5/03/the-most-important-afghan-military-men.html
an upcoming book tour that will usher him to locations across the united states — including stops in texas, arizona and new york — will, he hopes, raise more resources and awareness for the auf to continue its work.
“as soon as we have enough resources, we’re going to go and start our campaign,” sadat said.
“and in this, we’re not asking anyone’s permission.
putin is also owned by the zionists just like trump, they probably have videos of him urinating on children so they can blackmail him to humiliate the russian people like this. putin is a neo-yeltsinist pig. he watched russians getting murdered in donbass for 8 years before he decided to do something about it when his own people demanded it. he will have no problem watching hts terrorist do their genocide in syria, just like he never had a problem with zionist aggression in the region.
hopefully, all this zionist evil filth is removed from the earth soon
russia has been through the zionist plans to destroy amd control them over hundreds of years . i am not a believer in your spam .
i wonder how many times trump was told to discuss the middle east situation in the putin phone call ? if i was russia i would not discusses israel related subjects at all . funny how when the us continuing resolution funding bill passed , the gaza / middle east war war rebooted . coincidence ?
the usa is a war mongering shithole. they wind down 1 war, the immediately wind up another one
now what happened to peace agreement which broker by putin and erdogan.big russian army has become small countries attacking and practicing zone under putin.
its all down to wanting to be “friends ” with your enemies something i cant accept as it abhors me .
if we’ve learned one thing from history: russia always stabs its “allies” in the back.
heheheh
its not russia or the russians who do this its the jews who control it who do it.
jews are the ultimate fifth column traitors bar none. that is why they have been persecuted, because this treachery and subversion has been well known for a long time.
if this is true and i say if, it’s yet another mistake by putin like when he thought he could trust erdogan, they say julani is going to investigate the massacres, yeah right! thats like asking the ss to investigate auschwitz.
mistakes i think not. this prick has got his pontius pilate act down to a fine art. as long as it facilitates, and doesn’t jeopardize this israel in any way, then it’s a green light to any ‘initiative’
i feel like he’s isolated from human nature and can’t read people very well
putin is a natural born dummy. only a idiot would have stepped into the nuland kiev trap.
putin is simply recognising reality. assads government collapsed due to its own failures and strategic errors, and the terrorists won. we don’t need to like it, but the russians need to move on and make the best of it. the alawites need to accept that their time of control is over and that the new boss won’t take kindly to rebellion. yeah it sux but thats the bottom line.
no it collapsed because the terrorist activity of the united states and its allies.
you’re somewhat simplistic and glib about it aren’t you ? the ‘new boss’ – a doped up murdering zio rock ape. everything’s just falling into place so sweetly, until it doesn’t. “we don’t need to like it” 😃 – the facetiousness / chutzpah of your crowd has always led to not so very good endings historically and it always sux, but you refuse to learn. not too smart.
please tell me that shit is a lie
‘alawites taking refuge in khmeimim have refused to leave the air base and have demanded international protection’. the base commander has an issue on his hands but he hasn’t backed down in his responsibilities here so far. i wonder if pezeshkian will bring this issue up with the grand chess master when they meet. what a smoke and mirrors hootenanny that would be.
hehe, cant even retake all of kursk territory in 7 months, energy and weapons and industrial facilities getting destroyed in rusland and russia cant be adequately defended and now suggesting foreign campaigns. laughable.
don’t y’all realize that the big z on russian equipment stands for zionism?
putin shows his true colors, cooperating with terrorists and terrorist regimes all over the world.he has always been a technocrat and a politician. he’s very very good at that but a snake is also good at being a snake.
russia – zionist owned
usa – zionist owned
ukraine – zionist owned
everyone else is just taking what ever they want.
putin talks and talks and talks endlessly
even a sack of potatoes would be a better leader for russia.
