Kiev forces left behind loads of Western-made weapons, some damaged and other completely destroyed, while fleeing the Russian region of Kursk.
Videos and photos posted to social networks or released by news agencies after the beginning of the last Russian offensive in Kursk at the start of March showed many of these weapons, including at least two American-made M1A1SA Abrams main battle tanks.

An American-made M2A2 ODS Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, two M1126 Stryker infantry carrying vehicles, including a completely destroyed one, and two M113 armored personnel carriers were also among the weapons abandoned by Kiev forces.

In addition, at least three operational American-made M777 155 mm towed howitzers were left behind by Kiev forces along with some ammunition.

The footage also showed a Swedish-made CV90 infantry fighting vehicle, a French-made VAB wheeled armored personnel carrier, an Australian-made Bushmaster protected mobility vehicle, and German-made Biber armoured vehicle-launched bridge.

Kiev forces invaded Kursk on August 6 of last year, relying mainly on Western-made weapons and foreign mercenaries. The Russian military halted the Ukrainian attack within a few days, all while conducting offensive operations in Donetsk and other directions.
The Russian final offensive in Kurks gained momentum on March 6. During a March 12 visit to a command post in Kursk Oblast, President Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian military to “fully liberate” the region. On the very next day, the key city of Sudzha was liberated by Russian troops.
By March 13, Kiev forces had very much withdrawn from all of Kursk aside from the settlements of Guyevo, Gornal, Oleshnya, and Gogolevka.
The failed Ukrainian adventure in Kursk proved to be extremely costly for the Kiev regime. In a briefing on March 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that 67,410 Ukrainian troops had been naturalized since the start of the battle in the region.
The ministry stated that Kiev forces also lost 392 tanks, 316 infantry fighting vehicles, 283 armoured personnel carriers, 2,198 armoured fighting vehicles, 2,433 motor vehicles, 553 artillery guns, 52 MLRS launchers, including 13 American-made HIMARS and seven MLRS, 26 anti-aircraft missile launchers, one self-propelled anti-aircraft system, ten transport-loading vehicles, 120 EW stations, 16 counter-battery warfare radars, ten air defence radars, 56 units of engineering, including 23 counter obstacle vehicles, one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, five bridge launchers, one engineering reconnaissance vehicle, as well as 15 armoured recovery vehicles, and one command post vehicle.

perhaps a bit delusional today? let’s face it: russian air supremacy has been total and undisputed all along this 6-day offensive. that means russian aircraft were able to provide close air-to-ground support i.e. flying at a very low altitude to strike the enemy as they please. air defenses were simply not there, because destroyed in advance.
russians got through this pretty much unscathed, for ukrainians has been a slaughter, instead. and these losses will have visible consequences on other fronts in the short-term
