The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue daily devastating strikes on targets across Ukraine. The night of March 5th was not an exception.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the combined attack. According to the Ukrainian military, Russian forces launched three Iskander-M missiles, one S-300 missiles and 181 UAVs. Ukrainian air defense allegedly destroyed 115 Russian UAVs, 55 other decoy drones disappeared inflicting no damage. Thus, according to the Ukrainian military, 11 Russian UAVs and four missiles reached their targets. Ukrainian officials confirmed damage in the Kiev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv regions.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also confirmed another wave of massive strikes on Ukrainian rear infrastructure. “Tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have damaged the infrastructure of military airfields, an oil depot providing fuel to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, production shops and control points for unmanned aerial vehicles, the base of boats of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the headquarters of the nationalist formation “Kraken”, as well as points of accumulation of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries in 150 areas.”
Heavy damage to military-industrial complex, logistics hubs, military depots and energy infrastructure was confirmed as a result of the strikes in the rear regions of Ukraine. Yesterday, day and night, Russian drones and missile attacked targets in the Donbass, in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Kherson regions, in Pavlograd in the Poltava region, across the Odessa region, in Dnipro, Krivy Rih and Sinelnikovo in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Kremenchuk, in Kiev, Borispil and Obukhov in the Kiev region, Chernihiv region.
The southern Odessa region came under another massive attack. At least four Russian kamikaze drones struck the Chernomorka-110 energy station in the village of Sovignion.
Russian Iskander-M missile struck the territory of the former Avtodorozhnik recreation center, which was turned into a point of temporary deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign officers. As a result of the strike, one of the main buildings, where were up to 50 Ukrainian soldiers and foreign instructors, was destroyed, as well as an administrative building, medical depot of the Ukrainian military.
Russian kamikaze UAVs struck the logistics hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chernomorsk port. According to local reports, the 24th berth was destroyed, as well as several warehouses with military equipment.
Odessa has been one of the key elements in military supply chains since the beginning of the conflict. Goods, weapons, fuel, military equipment and spare parts are transported to Ukraine by sea through the ports in the Odessa region. The constant Russian strikes decreased the intensity of foreign military supplies to the Ukrainian military. According to Russian monitoring sources, NATO and Kiev attempted to again intensify their military supplies at the beginning of 2025, that’s why the region is coming under the daily devastating Russian strikes. There are also large production sites, where UAVs and kamikaze boats are being assembled.
Last night, more Russian strikes were recorded in the Kiev region. At least sever Russian kamikaze drones struck Ukrainian fuel and transport infrastructure in Borispil. The targets included the local railway, Grand Terminal oil depot, Agroregion Borispil logistics hub.
Russian Iskander-M missiles inflicted heavy damage to large industrial facilities in Pavlograd in the Dnepropetrovsk region. One of the missiles struck the local mechanical plant, where the assembly and restoration of missile hulls, the repair of multiple launch rocket systems and the production of critical components for long-range ammunition was ongoing. As a result of the strike, the administrative building was destroyed, the main assembly shop was damaged, a fire broke out in the depots.
Another Russian Iskander-M missile struck the main production facilities of the Pavlograd Chemical Plant, which is a key Ukrainian enterprise for the production of solid rocket fuel, powder mixtures and detonation compounds for various types of ammunition.
The border Kharkiv region is pounded on a regular basis. At night, Russian drones struck the local ice cream factory Khladoprom, which was used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The refrigerating chambers and storage facilities used to store food supplied to Ukrainian military units were completely destroyed. According to Russian reports, Ukrainian servicemen arrived to the area from different directions to regroup at the moment of the attack. More Russian drones destroyed Ukrainian and NATO military vehicles and repare facilities at the local trolleybus depot No. 3.
