The Ukrainian Armes Forces (UAF) shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic 18 times over the past 24 hours, firing 50 munitions.
In the Belgorod Region, farmstead Plotvyanka, Volokonovsk District, was attacked by two drones. In the village of Arkhangelskoye, Shebekinsky District, a warehouse of an agricultural enterprise caught fire as a result of a UAV attack. Novaya Tavolzhanka also came under shelling. In Krasnoyaruga District, the village of Repyakhovka was attacked by an FPV drone. In the afternoon, a Russian air defense system operated over Belgorod and the Belgorod district. Air targets were shot down but a civilian was wounded. The attacks were carried out by five American-made ATACMS missiles.
In response, Russia launched strikes on Ukraine’s Danube ports, as well as on the facilities in the Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Kiev and other regions. A series of strikes were also launched against Ukrainian facilities in the Odessa Region. Fire damage was inflicted on the infrastructure of the military airfield, as well as the port part of the city, where the transports in the interests of the Ukrainian army had been unloaded the day before. Situation on the fronts
In the Kursk direction, the UAF have deployed several detachments of former prisoners from the 225 separate battalion to the line of contact. They were immediately thrown into combat. There is currently fighting near Makhnovka, Pogrebki, Cherkasskaya Porechnaya and in the forest belts of the Sudzha district.

In the Volchansk direction, according to the Russian grouping of forces “North”, the Ukrainian side is also persistently redeploying assault groups, formed from former air defense and aviation technicians among others, to the northern bank of the Volchya River. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces launched three counterattacks, which were thwarted by Russian UAV operators. In general, the realization of the plan to create a “buffer zone” near the Belgorod region failed. This can be attributed to the group command’s unsuccessful choice of entry points into the Kharkiv Region at the beginning of the operation. During the months of fighting, there was virtually no movement on the front line, with heavy fighting going on.
In the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) direction, the Russian Armed Forces (RAF) continue their actions to envelop the city from the south-west. They have already managed to gain a foothold near Udachnoye and Kotlino. There is heavy fighting near Zverevo with the aim of advancing towards Pokrovsk. Russian attacks in several directions should not allow the UAF to maneuver forces along the front line. The Ukrainian military seem to have miscalculated their forces and missed another Russian flank attack west of Pokrovsk.
Overall, as journalists from the Swiss newspaper Neue Zurcher Zeitung correctly point out, Pokrovsk is now definitely turning into one of the last bastions of the Ukrainian military in Donbas.

In the Kurakhove direction, Russian troops are advancing westward in a “pocket” along the Sukhi Yaly River. Northeast of Konstantinopolskoye there is also an advance of Russian units from the Shevchenko settlement. In the vicinity of Konstantinopolskoye, there are FAB strikes on the bridge.
