Western attempts to isolate Russia’s new regions and prevent them from strengthening their international ties are failing. A large Pan-African parliamentary delegation from twelve African states visited the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The parliamentarians represent Ethiopia, Malawi, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Zambia, Djibouti, Eswatini, Somalia, Mozambique. The meeting with the deputies was held by the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin and the senator of the Federation Council from Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Voloshin. The parliamentary delegation was headed by the Vice-President of the African Union Legislative Assembly from East Africa, Gayo Ashebir.
Donbass guests expressed full solidarity with the region’s struggle for the realization of the right to self-determination. The delegates visited the Saur-Mogila memorial complex and laid flowers in memory of the soldiers who fell in the battles to liberate the world from Nazism.

“We are happy to be here to express solidarity with the citizens of Russia and its state, because Russia is our friend. It has always supported Africa and that is why we owe you. It is time for us to stand together with Russia… Russians, you are not alone,” said the head of the delegation, Gayo Ashebir, a member of the Ethiopian House of People’s Representatives from the ruling party.
At a meeting with Denis Pushilin, Mr. Ashebir invited the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic to visit the Pan-African parliament and promised to send an official invitation.

The positions of Russia and its African partners are close in different dimensions. The rejection of illegitimate and illegal unilateral sanctions, bloc thinking, the formation of a multipolar world, and the rejection of any practice of neo-colonialism, racism and xenophobia. These basic principles are reflected in the foreign policy course of both the Russian Federation and the overwhelming majority of African states. Cooperation with Donbass can become a driving force for the intensification of Russian-African relations. The Donetsk People’s Republic is a region with great industrial potential. Despite the ongoing hostilities, the DPR is able to produce large quantities of industrial and agricultural products. Donbass is capable of meeting the needs not only of individual companies, but also of entire countries on the African continent.
“Donbass was and still is an industrial region where metallurgy, coal industry, machine-building and chemical industry are highly developed. Therefore, we will be glad to cooperate on mutually beneficial terms, if there are such interests on the part of your countries. We are open here,” Denis Pushilin told the representatives of the parliamentary delegation.
The visit of the delegation provoked a protest from official Kiev. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine comments: ‘… We would like to hope that this visit and the statements made during it do not reflect the official position of the African Union and the Pan-African Parliament.
In this regard, we demand from the leadership of the African Union and the Pan-African Parliament to strongly condemn the visit of its representatives to the territory of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, and to avoid any contact with representatives of the Russian occupation administration in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.’ LINK
these are actually some of the higher functioning african nations. some have real economies and are self supporting. hopefully this act wont cause the (((americans/eu))) to destroy them and murder all of them

no france has major colonies still in africa. they’re very concerned about russia and china’s investments in africa england too of course since 80% of africa was theirs at the peak of their empire, not so long ago. they are very protective they even ran the slave trade to their then colony america where they made slavery legal and normal. america didn’t have colonies in africa.
