The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue launching devastating daily strikes ruining Ukrainian rear infrastructure. Russian drones and missiles are pounding targets both at night and during the day.
Representatives of the Air Forces of Ukraine stated that Ukrainian air defense shot down 39 Russian kamikaze drones Geran-2 out of 71 over the past night. According to the official report by the Ukrainian command, Russian drones were shot down in the Kirovograd, Kyiv, Sumy and Poltava regions. But in the morning, Russian drones continued to circle over the territory of Ukraine, in particular in the capital, destroying more targets.
The command of the Ukrainian Air Forces noted that Russian drones constantly change course and may struck their targets from different directions.
The Russian military is trying to overload Ukraine’s air defense systems as much as possible. Therefore, they carry out massive attacks with the help of inexpensive kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian military complains that the Russians began launching drone strikes almost round-the-clock in order to save missiles and simultaneously conduct reconnaissance of Kiev-controlled territories. It was recently revealed that some of Russian Gerans were equipped with cameras which allowed to observe areas in the deep enemy rear.
Ukrainian military experts claimed that Russian forces began to use updated kamikaze Geran drones with thermobaric warheads. Although so far, Russians do not use this type of drones en masse. The upgraded UAVs are reportedly equipped with warheads similar to the one used in heavy flamethrower systems of Solntsepek aimed to cause fire and increase damage.
Last night, Russian combined attack resulted in heavy damage to the Ukrainian military.
The capital Kyiv came under several waves of Russian drone strikes. The Kyiv regime carefully hides the targets destroyed by the strikes, but could not deny that the Ukrainian air defense failed to repel the attack. The local mayor confirmed fires in different districts of the city. The electricity and water supplies were disrupted.

In Kyiv, a massive attack by Geran UAVs was recorded in the morning. Russian drones approached the city simultaneously from several directions, including from the west. Damage to military infrastructure and military-industrial complex facilities in several districts have been confirmed. According to local reports, as a result of the air defense suppression operation, one Western-made air defense system was destroyed near Kyiv.
Russian strikes were also reported in the Kyiv region, including in the areas of Bila Tserkva and Vasilkov. Another drone assembly shop was reportedly destroyed in the region.
Ukrainian authorities did not forget to blame the Russian military for alleged attacks on civilian infrastructure. According to the local administration, as a result of the night attack, eight private houses, an apartment in a multi-storey building, and a power line were damaged in the Kyiv region. The local residents shared the videos which clearly showed why civilian infrastructure is suffering damage:
On the evening of November 1st, Russian forces a devastating wave of strikes in the city of Kharkiv. One of the targets of Russian Iskander-M missiles was the building of the Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. The Ukrainian side confirmed heavy losses but according to unofficial reports they are much higher than officially reported.
According to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, up to 40 people were wounded, including 30 policemen, a rescuer and nine civilians. The death of only one officer was officially acknowledged. However, according to unofficial local reports, the attack was launched at the moment when the command of the National Guard held meeting in the building. The Ukrainian military reportedly lost up to a hundred men, including a large number of officers and commanders of Ukrainian nationalist battalions.
Another Russian devastating strike destroyed a large batch of 155 mm shells supplied from NATO to the port of Odessa. As a result of the large detonation, a fire also destroyed fuel depots and workshops with naval drones in the port, as well as some military equipment, including up to 12 Turkish armored vehicles.
As a result of the night strikes, almost the entire Sumy region was de-energised. More Russian strikes destroyed Ukrainian military positions.
More Russian missiles strikes were recorded on the afternoon of November 1st in the Kherson region. At least two Iskander-M missiles destroyed the point of temporary deployment of the 406th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hidden on the territory of the local machine building plant.

As a result of the attack, several cargo vehicles were destroyed, including special vehicles for transporting ammunition, as well as armored escort vehicles. Among the destroyed vehicles are KAMAZ and MAZ trucks filled with artillery shells and mortar mines. The Kozak-2 armored vehicle which escorted the column was also destroyed. Ukrainian firepower is weakened by Russian precision strikes in one of the most dangerous directions on the frontlines.
