The Russian military ends the month of daily strikes on Ukrainian rear infrastructure with another massive attack. On the night of October 31, Russian forces launched new combined attack with drones and missiles on various facilities of Ukrainian military, industrial and energy infrastructures.

Russian strikes were recorded in the Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk regions as well as in the capital of Ukraine Kiev.

At night, a series of explosions thundered in the southern region of Odessa. The local authorities confirmed the attack. It was soon revealed that the target was the strategically important bridge in the border town of Zatoka. The railway and road there are actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the NATO military to transfer weapons and military equipment from Romania to Ukraine. According to Russian monitoring sources, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched at least six missiles, one of which struck the local power lines. As a result of the attack, the bridge was damaged and traffic on the railway was disrupted but the Ukrainian military may continue transfer NATO weapons through this bridge after repair. The bridge is an important target that is coming under Russian strikes on a regular basis since the very beginning of the Russian Special Military Operation in Ukraine.

 

 

More Russian strikes were reported in the area of the port in the city of Odessa but any new damage is yet to be confirmed. On the evening of October 30, Russian strikes were recorder in the port of Chernomorsk.

The military base of the National Guard of Ukraine #3030 came under Russian strikes in Kiev. The buildings were damaged and the Armed Forces of Ukraine could suffer heavy losses in manpower.

A devastating wave of Russian drone strikes hit the Kremenchug oil refinery in the Poltava region. As a result of the attack, the key equipment, including rectification columns, was damaged. The Ukrainian military risks to suffer a temporary shutdown or reduction of the plant’s capacity and disruption in the production of petroleum products, including gasoline and aviation fuel, which will reduce fuel supplies.

Another Russian strike disrupts supply of FPV drones to the Ukrainian military. Russian kamikaze drones destroyed workshops of their production in the town of Verhnedneprovsk in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

The war-torn Kharkiv and Kherson regions, as well as border Sumy region, are pounded by Russian strikes non stop. More Ukrainian military bases, ammo depots and warehouses with fuel and lubricants were destroyed. Some energy facilities came under attack in Kharkiv.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have no place to hide in the area under their control in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Over the past day, they suffered heavy losses in manpower and military equipment as a result of Russian strikes.

Russian monitoring sources confirmed the destruction of several points of deployment of Ukrainian forces in Seversk, Slavyansk, Donetskoe, Mykolaivka, Ulakly. At least two of them was deployed in a school and a hospital, other were hidden in industrial facilities. According to preliminary estimations, the Ukrainian military lost up to 130 servicemen killed and wounded, including more tha a dozen officers. Precision missile strikes destroyed Ukrainian repair base in Kramatorsk, where Ukrainian forces used military equipment supplied by Germany and Italy. Large ammo depots of Ukrainian forces were destroyed in several settlements, including Romanovka, Donetskoe, Ivanovka.
