About 1,000 the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) supporters attempted to march on the headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Istanbul on June 9. Some of activists, attending the event, threw eggs at police.

Turkish policemen reportedly fired rubber bullets to disperse the protesters and blocked the way to the AKP headquarters. Several people were injured as result of the police’s actions.

The demonstrators denounced death threats against Turkish opposition politicianKemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who faced a protest, during the funeral of the victims of Tuesday’s car bombing in Istanbul. A group of Kilicdaroglu critics torn up a wreath he had laid for the victims. Kilicdaroglu faced threats to his life after he said on a live TV interview that he visited the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants in prison.

The Istanbul car bombing has killed 11 people, including six police officers and five civilians. Ankara blamed “Kurdish fighters” for the attack. The CHP chief has repeatedly been accused of failing to support to the Erdogan government’s anti-militant operations in the southern parts of Turkey.

Erdogan has ruined Turkey. He has destroyed Turkish democracy, Turkish secularism and any kind of freedom, modernity, progress or liberty. Erdogan wants a theocratic neo-Ottoman dictatorship with himself as Sultan. He’s arming Islamist terrorists in Syria because he is an Islamist. Down with Erdogan, down with the Muslim Brotherhood, down with ISIS, down with Al-Nusra, down with Iran, down with all enemies of freedom! Long live the Kurdistan! Long live Secular-Democracy!
