On the night of December 5, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted another massive attack on the Russian rear areas. The Crimean peninsula again was the main target of Ukrainian drones.

Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to launch a terrorist attack by airplane-type UAVs on objects in the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. 22 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense on duty and 13 more were intercepted over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the territory of the Republic of Crimea, – the report by the Russian MoD says.

Ukrainian massive drone attacks on the peninsula became more rare. The last attempt to hit targets in Crimea took place on November 24. 13 drones were launched from the Kherson region and were intercepted by Russian forces. In recent weeks, the AFU preferred attacks with their upgraded S-200 missiles; but they also brought no results. LINK
