Hezbollah Releases Videos Of Recent Attacks On Israeli Sites, Troops

Hezbollah’s Military Media has released videos documenting some of the attacks that targeted the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) along the border with Lebanon on November 11.

One of the videos shows an attack with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) against gatherings of Israeli troops at the Ramim barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms.

The other videos show attacks with mortars and rockets at a number of IDF sites along the border. Burkan rockets, which are heavy improvised munitions built on the basis of Iranian-made Falaq-2 rockets, were used in some of the attacks. This was the first confirmed use of these rockets by Hezbollah since clashes on the Lebanese front broke out after the start of the war in the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah carried out a total of eight attacks against Israel on November 11. The attacks targeted six military sites, three deployment points, an armored personnel carrier and two gatherings of infantry. The group said that the attacks were carried out “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance.”

The IDF responded with a series of artillery and air strikes on southern Lebanon, mainly targeting ATGM and rocket launchers of Hezbollah.

In addition, an Israeli combat drone targeted the outskirts of the town of Zahrani, some 40 kilometers away from the front. This was Israel’s deepest strike inside Lebanon since the clashes with Hezbollah broke.

The Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon killed a fighter of Hezbollah and another from the allied Lebanese Resistance Regiments.

So far, the clashes on the Lebanese front have claimed the lives of nine Israelis -six soldiers and three civilians-, 68 fighters of Hezbollah, two fighters from the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, one fighter from the Lebanese Resistance Regiments, seven Palestinian fighters -three from the Hamas Movement and four from the Islamic Jihad- and eleven Lebanese civilians -two shepherds, a teenager, three elderly, three children and two journalists-.

otázkou je ako dlho to potrvá. bude nakoniec mať palestína vlastný štát? alebo to bude zase iba zbytočné krviprelievanie?
