On November 6, at least three US military bases in Iraq and Syria came under another attack. Strikes took place amid the visit of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Baghdad.
According to Arab media, the Ain al-Asad military base in the Iraqi province of Al Anbar was targeted with drones at least twice, on Sunday night and on Monday morning. Both drones were reportedly intercepted and the attacks resulted in no damage.
Another drone attack targeted the area of the Al-Tanf military base in Syria. The drone was also reportedly intercepted.
In addition, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq fired at the base located north of the city of Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan. There is no information about the consequences of the attacks
On November 1, the Pentagon claimed that since October 17, a total of 27 attacks have targeted US military bases in the Middle East, 16 in Iraq, 11 in Syria.

i am of the opinion that iran is mass producing their indigenous air defense system. performance is said to be between the s300 & s400. and it’s a weapons program that has seen special focus for obvious reasons. the production must be in hyperdrive right now and until then — they probably don’t want to enter a full fledged conventional war versus america and nato. they would certainly not admit their readiness is not optimal but it can be deduced.
that said, i believe that once they have adequate cutting-edge air defense throughout the whole iranian-iraqi territory — they will likely attack the us bases in the region with overwhelming force & capability. this threshold could be reached in the next few months. i dont think iran would continue to warn the us about their support of gaza unless they meant business. they’ve already given 5+ red line ultimatums.
moreover, iran is likely to provide syria with new air defenses in order to protect their territorial sovereignty. iran has asked brics to intervene in the gaza war — i dont think that russian “neutrality” towards israeli aggression will be looked at favorably in the coming months. at some point, russia will have to pick between iran or israel. between west and east. between us hegemony or brics multipolar world.
