- Last night, the AFU attempted an assault with forces of an infantry platoon and two tanks near Rabotino. The tanks blew up in the minefield and scattered servicemen were covered by Russian mortar fire. The AFU continue attacks by small groups;
- The Ukrainian command threw the Azov Special Forces on pickup trucks into assault near Verbovoe. They were repelled in the battle against the Russian paratroopers;
- The AFU have recently suspended large offensive operations near Novodonetskoe. Ukrainian forces are mining the area and strengthening their defense in the area;
- The AFU is sending reinforcement to the area of Verbovoe;
- The Russian Army repelled attacks of the AFU near Staromayorske;
- Russian forces destroyed 55 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armored vehicles, 3 pickups, 2 howitzers, 1 US-made M119 gun, AN/TPQ-50 radar in the Zaporozhye region;
- Russian forces destroyed 80 Ukrainian troops, 5 motor vehicles, 2 D-30 howitzers in the Kherson region.

this week, reports are the ukrainians are throwing fresh conscripts against the russians, buying time as they prepare defensive positions. it seems the ukrainians know they no longer have any offensive capabilities in this area at the time and fear a russian counter attack reclaiming or possibly breaking their positions. defedning is something they should have been doing the whole time if they were competent. though competence isn’t strong in western militaries or politics these days.
