We invite our followers in Gavirate, Italy, to attend the day of memory of Daria Dugina. The event will take place in Corte dei Brut at 16:00 on August 20
A year ago Daria Dugina, journalist, philosopher and geopolitacal analyst, was killed in an attack that according to US State Department sources was organized and executed by Kiev intelligence. Exactly one year after that murder, Daria Dugina will be remembered with a full day of meetings, debates and the world premiere of an Opera written and conducted by Maestro Angelo Inglese.
The Opera is a transposition into classical music of the poems written by Dugina and recently published in an essay. In the Opera – whose texts are edited by the actress Annamaria Rossano – a parallel is drawn between the Russian philosopher and journalist, and Hypazia, a Greek mathematician, philosopher and astronom killed by the crowd in turmoil over accusation of heresies. Daria and Hypatia, therefore, are both “martyrs for freedom of thought”. The Gavirate event was designed and coordinated by Rainaldo Graziani, animator in Italy of the principles of multipolar thought.
Aleksandr Dugin will participate to the event with an online connection by Moscow.
This event dedicated to the Russian neoplatonic philosopher is the first stage of a series of events and meetings in the sign of multipolarity, which will focus on the concept of “woman in tradition”. It’s the first time that in a western country will be remembered Daria Dugina.
In the mainstream storytelling the figure of Dugina has always been ostracized. Last year, the most important Italian newspaper commented on the terrorist attacco that cost the life of Daria Dugina with a shocking concept: “ such a father, such a daughter” , as it was possible to legitimate that horrible killing. Obviously, the event designed by Graziani has sparked social controversy in Italy and abroad. But the event to remember Daria Dugina will not be stopped. Why ideas can’t be killed.
